When God Blurs the Lines

When God Blurs the Lines

Reading: Acts 10:34-35 -- Peter's declaration that God shows no favoritism, welcoming all who fear Him and do what is right.

Devotional: God has never been confined by the boundaries human beings draw. The same Spirit who fell on Jewish believers at Pentecost fell on Gentile outsiders in Caesarea. That was not an accident. It was a declaration. God was announcing that His grace cannot be contained by ethnicity, background, or tradition.

The lines we defend so carefully are often lines He is prepared to erase. The question is not whether God will move beyond our comfort. He already has. The question is whether we will follow Him there. Where has God already moved that you have been slow to follow?
