Boldness Under Pressure
Reading: Acts 4:1-13; 2 Timothy 1:7-8
Devotional: Peter and John stood before the same council that condemned Jesus, yet they didn't cower. What changed? They had been filled with the Holy Spirit. The same man who denied Christ before a servant girl now boldly proclaimed Him before the highest authorities.
Opposition doesn't mean you've done something wrong—it often means the gospel is visible in your life. When the world notices Jesus in you, resistance will come. The question is: whose voice gets the final word in your life? Will you adjust your message for comfort, or will you let your yes be yes?
The Holy Spirit doesn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Ask God today to fill you afresh with boldness to speak truth.
