Sailing Beyond the Map
Reading: Acts 10:24-33
Devotional:
Peter walked into a room full of Gentiles with no prepared sermon and no clear understanding of what was about to happen. He simply followed the heading God had given him, one step at a time. He went downstairs. He opened the door. He made the trip. He entered the room. And God was already there waiting, having prepared the hearts of everyone inside. This is what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit.
You do not need the whole map. You need the next heading. God is already moving on the other side of your obedience. Cornelius said it plainly: we are all here, present before God, to hear everything you have been commanded by the Lord. The room was ready. Peter just had to walk in.
