Raised to Take Responsibility
Reading: Acts 9:36-43
Devotional:
Tabitha was raised from the dead, and Peter reached out his hand to lift her up. The miracle was real, but the personal engagement mattered. God does not simply declare people healed and walk away. He reaches toward them. He raises them. And he calls his people to do the same. Notice also that when Peter healed Aeneas, he did not stop at the miracle. He told him to make his own bed. Freedom from what once held you comes with a new responsibility.
You have been set free. Now take ownership of the life God has restored. Be someone who lifts heads, raises the fallen, and walks with those God has healed.
