Same Spirit, Same Gospel, Same Family
Reading: Galatians 3:26-28 -- Paul's declaration that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for all are one in Christ Jesus.
Devotional: The believers in Antioch discovered something that changed everything. What they shared in Christ was infinitely greater than what once divided them. Different cultures, different histories, different languages -- and yet the same Savior, the same Holy Spirit, the same gospel.
That shared foundation did not merely make them tolerant neighbors occupying the same space. It made them family. Family bears burdens. Family sacrifices. Family reaches across old lines with generosity rather than suspicion. The church at Antioch proved it when Gentile believers sent relief to Jewish believers in Jerusalem. What would it look like for you to treat your church not as a gathering place but as a family?
